Carp Fishing! does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as name, email address, or phone number to use the app. The app is designed to work locally on your device.

When you use Carp Fishing!, the app collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Catch information (species, weight, length, photos you choose to take)

1.3 Location Information

With your permission, Carp Fishing! accesses your device's GPS to record fishing session locations. Location data is stored only on your device and is used solely to help you track where you fish. You can choose to deny location access, though some features may be limited.

1.4 Photos

If you choose to take photos of your catches, these images are stored locally on your device within the app's secure storage. We do not access, upload, or share your photos.

1.5 Weather Data

The app retrieves weather information from third-party weather services based on your location to provide bite predictions and session insights. This data is used only for app functionality and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

1.6 Advertising Data

Carp Fishing! displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To provide personalized ads, the following information may be collected by our advertising partners:

• Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) - a unique identifier for advertising purposes
• Device information (operating system version, device model, screen size)
• IP address and general location (country/city level, not precise GPS)
• App usage data (which screens you visit, how long you use the app)
• Ad interaction data (which ads you view or click)

This data is collected and processed by Google AdMob according to their privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. Users with an active subscription do not see advertisements and this data is not collected.

3.1 Local Storage

All your fishing data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage mechanisms. We do not upload your personal fishing data, photos, or location information to any remote servers or cloud services.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is protected by iOS security features including device encryption and app sandboxing.

3.3 Backups

Your Carp Fishing! data may be included in your device's standard iOS backup (iCloud or iTunes). These backups are controlled by Apple's privacy policies and your device settings, not by our app.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Carp Fishing! operates entirely on your device, and your fishing data remains private to you. We do not have access to your data unless you explicitly choose to contact our support team.

Advertising Exception: For users without an active subscription, advertising data (as described in Section 1.6) is shared with Google AdMob to display personalized advertisements. This data sharing is governed by Google's privacy policy and complies with applicable privacy regulations. No personal fishing data, photos, or precise location information is shared with advertisers.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Weather Services

Carp Fishing! uses third-party weather APIs to retrieve current weather conditions and forecasts. These services may receive your approximate location to provide accurate weather data. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these services.

5.2 Google AdMob

For users without an active subscription, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect and process data as described in Section 1.6 for the purpose of serving personalized ads. AdMob's data collection and use are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can control ad personalization through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Alternatively, you can subscribe to the premium version to remove all advertisements.

5.3 Analytics (Optional)

We may use anonymized analytics to understand how users interact with the app and identify areas for improvement. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

Carp Fishing! may request the following permissions:

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Carp Fishing! offers premium subscriptions that remove all advertisements and unlock additional features. Subscription options include:

• Monthly Subscription: $0.99/month
• Yearly Subscription: $9.99/year
• Lifetime Purchase: $49.99 one-time payment

All subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your App Store account settings. We do not store or have access to your payment information - all payment processing is handled securely by Apple.

Premium Benefits: Active subscribers do not see advertisements, and therefore no advertising data is collected for premium users as described in Section 1.6.

8. Children's Privacy

Carp Fishing! does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require age verification. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app
• Modification: You can edit or delete any fishing sessions or catches
• Deletion: You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app or using the "Delete All Data" option in settings
• Export: You can export your data (feature may vary by version)
